In about 3 hours my 7th week of pregnancy will end. And I am not sorry to see it go! Over the past few days my nausea has been so horrible that I have not been able to eat or drink. I think I would feel much better if I could "make myself get sick" but so far I have not been able to (even with brushing my teeth) >( that is my angry face lol!
Moving on...
So tonight I had my first prenatal appointment. It went really well. My doctor is really nice, and I look forward to working with her over the next months :) ! After talking with her, she decided to try putting me on this Vitamin B complex that helps with most nausea in pregnant women, the best thing is that it is safe and good for the baby. I have already decided that if it does not work, then I will not go to a pharmaceutical medication that could be potential dangerous to the baby.
As hard as it has been, I have been trying to keep my spirits high and thanking God for the miracle of life that he has blessed Larry and I with.
Oooh..funny story about God... So today I was feeling a little down because of how sick I have been and for some reason I was thinking about Nursery Rhymes and what not.
I was saying to myself "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall...all the King's Horses and all the King's men could not put Humpty together again...
After I finished saying the last line, I heard God's quiet whisper in my heart say "But I Could".. I was laughing so hard and I thanked Him for his humor!
Just thought I would share that!
One of the things that I have been thanking the Lord for is my church and church family! They are such a vital part of our life, and I am happy to be raising this child from the Lord in such an amazing place!
Well that is it for now.
God Bless You All!
Love,
Kristina
p.s.
May We Both Survive This Pregnancy! Also Kristina has had many aversions to food, I however have been craving Mexican food and Pay Days. I also have been having mood swings. Thank you Family & Friends for all your prayers.

Larry

Grandma Gloria's Reaction to the baby news
My Mom finds out she is going to be a Grandma
Larry | MySpace Video
Unfortunately we have a horrible digital camera and for some reason we could not get it to turn upright and there is no sound. Luckily you can pretty much read her lips! She did not understand why she had to open up this present at that moment! It was great!

7 weeks
So the past 6 weeks have been pretty good. I have struggled with some nausea and have had some light lower back pain but that was mostly relieved when Larry bought me a Boppy Body Pillow.
For the first time in my life I have to take naps. When 2 p.m. hits, my head is ready for my pillow.
I am 4 days into my 7th week and on Saturday night my nausea has progressed into, well there really is no "nice" way of saying it, vomiting. Not to mention heart burn that felt like it was melting a hole right through my chest. "What To Expect When You're Expecting" says that it usually only lasts for the first 12 weeks but there are some women who experience it throughout their entire pregnancy. Obviously I hope it is done and over with ASAP and does not last.
I really have not had any food cravings, BUT, I have had many food aversions.
Mainly: BEEF! So disgusting! It makes my stomach turn!
I have had to force my self to eat over the past 5 weeks because I have had zero appetite.
This week will be pretty busy and I am hoping to get caught up on some much needed cleaning and laundry.
Well it is 12:56 on Sunday, and I need to get some sleep!

Kristina Is Pregnant
Hello dear family and friends.
It has finally happened. After 3 years of trying and a miscarriage in 2008, Kristina is finally pregnant.
We are much more confident this time around and have already had the first ultrasound appointment. On December 21st we got to see and hear the heartbeat of our little one.
We want to thank all of you who have us in your prayers! We are trusting in the Lord for protection, safety, and the health of Kristina and the baby.
Love,
Kristina & Larry
